[he pulls out his own communicator and texts Norton, showing Martin over his shoulder what he's typing]

-- I'm going to go make some tea.

[he says, while sitting on the floor and texting Norton]

[ before he registers the new voice coming through the comms, and he comes to awkwardly peer at it. ]

[ he shoots a baffled look at betelgeuse, handing him a bar of chocolate he retrieved from the pantry. ]

Sure. We're in my cabin if you'd like to stop by.

[Betelgeuse joyfully takes the candybar and opens it, giving an obscene shudder of delight. To Norton, he replies;]

Level 4, Cabin 1. Casual dress attire, we're not fancy here.

[Norton doesn't do casual dress, not of the "jeans and T-shirt" variety, at least. So he knocks on the door wearing a royal blue cashmere sweater, fine worsted wool trousers, and double-breasted greatcoat. But he's not wearing a tie, ergo, "casual."]

[corkscrewed]

[ martin will stand to let him in, slightly startled by the cashmere sweater. he is wearing a well-worn black t-shirt and a pair of pajama pants because he has literally barely been out of bed since he's returned-- he's a lot of sleep debt to catch up on. ]

[ he's glancing at you now, bj. why did he agree to this??? ]

[Shouts BJ with great enthusiasm. He leaps to his feet, rushing over to pick up Norton in a hug]

Yes, I got in some requests from the Admiral, upgraded from the old corner store Palmolive to something with a bit more luxury. It's called Juniper Jazz.

[The best thing about being dead are all the luxury goods he gets to sample and couldn't afford for himself while he was alive.]
