Snakes? You keeps snakes in your drawers?

A snake. Her name's Sandy. She might be in the pipes this time of night, though, come to think of it.

You let your snake run wild?

Or slither wild? That doesn't have the same ring, though, does it.

[Norton opens the drawer very carefully and jumps away from it once it's open just in case a snake pops out.]

Yeah, don't you? She lives in the pipes, cleaning shit out. The Admiral let me keep her.

[Luckily, the only things inside the drawer are BJ's spare suspenders and Sandy's shed skin. The snake seems to be out elsewhere]

Dirty comments about snakes going into pipes aside...

[Norton takes out the spare suspenders and brings them to the chair and begins tying up BJ's wrists.]

How hard do you want it, petal?

[He grins back with a lot of teeth, settling his chin on the chair's back to gaze adoringly at Norton]

Oh, don't go easy. I might be human but I've also lived for a few thousand years and you get used to pain after all that time.

[pharadyne]

[Norton removes his leather belt and loops it in his right hand to form a strap. His left hand smooths over BJ's back. There are ways to make this safer, more structured, but "safe" isn't Norton's thing. Besides, he only offered to beat BJ with the belt, not erotically asphyxiate him, so it's not as if there's a risk of killing him. And anything else can be taken care of by the infirmary or healers or, hell, possibly even BJ's own magic.]

This will sting.

[He lashes the belt hard across BJ's shoulders and pauses to see his reaction.]

[He's cut off by the belt cutting through the air and smacking him. BJ yelps, grabbing the suspenders he's tied with for support. A shiver runs through him and his pupils get wide]

....Holy shit.

[He feels SO MUCH as a human. This might take some getting used to]

[Norton runs his fingers over the red strip the belt made on BJ's back.]

Too much, sweetcheeks?

[He squeaks, biting into his own forearm excitedly]

Just right, babes.

[pharadyne]

[Norton leans over BJ to murmur in his ear.]

Good.

[And licks his ear once before drawing away to strike him again with the belt.]

[That lick earns another full-body shiver before the hit comes. He gives a grunt of exhalation, grinning from ear to ear despite the tears in his eyes.]

How long we going for, kid?

[pharadyne]

Until you tell me to stop.

...Or ten minutes, whichever comes first. I can't do this all day.

Not the way you're swinging that arm around.

How about three more? Make it a nice even five.

[pharadyne]

[And he gets to it, striking three more times with a pause between each hit to allow sensation to properly sink in before adding to it.]

[He gives a long, staggered-out wail of happiness and pain at the last hit, absolutely mugging it up. BJ finally exhales, the picture of bliss as he leans his head on his tied arms]

Oh, babes. You really know how to make a girl feel special.

You gave me what I wanted, so fair's fair.

[He slips the belt back through his beltloops and buckles it in place, then undoes the knots binding BJ's wrists.]

I'd be happy to have a go at you again sometime, if you're interested in a trade.

[Betelgeuse is just going to stay on that chair, very much unable to stand up without his legs turning to jelly. He grins adoringly at Norton]

Hange comes and finds Betelgeuse in person to dish out this news. Good news has to be shared.

Betelgeuse is experimenting with human food in his room. He's making weird food art pyramids. It's gross.

He grins when he sees it's Hange come to visit.

"You're quitting your stuffy scientist job to become a professional dancer and you need a partner. I humbly accept!"

She comes over to sit with him, examining what he's up to. The fuck is this supposed to be? It's nice that Betelgeuse is still entertainingly weird.

"That sounds like fun... good idea."

This particular food pyramid has pickles pasted together with peanut butter, as BJ stacks one on top of the other.

"Oh, for real? Finally. I love tangoing."
