A nod back, and he throws his arms around her.

"That would be wonderful." He sobs into her neck.

Hange puts one arm around him. With the other she sends a quick text.

"There, there."

Betelgeuse snuggles into Hange, the damp sinking into her shoulder as he cries out his confused and frustrated feelings.

He's a loud crier.

She holds him and waits for a text back.

THIS IS AGONY but she's willing to endure it. For Betelgeuse. He better appreciate this someday.

Eventually he calms down, and rubs his eyes on her collar before peering at her communicator, giving a quiet chuckle.

"Oliver Stone, huh? Can't say he doesn't have a type."

These pop culture references fly right over her head 99% of the time.

"You ready to head over? He says," she checks, "He'll bring 'Chex mix'."

Please god say yes and let them get out of here.

"Totally." He tries for a winning smile but gets only about halfway, and when BJ climbs to his feet, he picks up Hange alongside in his arms.

"I am here for Bill's terrible choice in conspiracy movies."

She grunts and squirms. Let her walk!!

"Is that what it is? I should have known."

She's totally down to watch a conspiracy movie though lol

He hugs her tighter!

"Hey! Come on, stop fucking around, Hange. I'm emotionally needy right now and I haven't done dead lifts in three days."

"Eeeeuuuuhhhhh..."

Don't want! Do not want! But she goes limp, grimacing, allowing the carry.

He grins, walking over to the bars while doing pull ups. Using his warden for his weights.

"Okay I don't know where you hid your key but open sesame please and thanks."

Turns out her jacket has some cleverly sewn inner pockets. Hange digs around one of those and produces her warden item, which spills excess white-blue light around the room. A touch, and they're free to go!

"Eighth floor common rooms."

He grins, adjusts the hefty load of soldier on his shoulders, and starts running up the stairs!

To the eighth floor!

SHE PICKED THE CLOSEST ONES. They're only one floor up (this was in case SHE had to carry BETELGEUSE). Level 8 common rooms.

And so they're off together! Meeting up with Bill to watch an hours-long docu-crap movie about something Hange won't even understand.

When JFK is killed, there are Chex being thrown at the screen to simulate blood splatter.

Hange actually kind of gets into it. She likes history, and has no context to know what glaring inaccuracies are or aren't in the film.

Also thank fuck something is grabbing Betelgeuse's attention in one spot and non-destructively for however many hours. Ah, bliss.

Bill provides running chatter over all of the dramatic scenes about what really happened, including a gory slapstick of incompetence about what happened during the brain during the autopsy.

JFK's actual moment of death is shown a lot during the evidence portion of the trial. There are Chex Mix absolutely everywhere.
