His smile fades into something more nervous and insect-like.
"Well. I want to. But I have a feeling the Big Guy's gonna try to get rid of me if I do that. Hange is going to murder me if I don't graduate. So I- I wanna go home with somebody."
"Me too! I think...I think maybe I was wrong to think about going home.
Everyone's got their own lives, now. I can't just walk back in like nothing
happened."
"...I think a little? I just...I should know better than to try to keep
living in the past," she says. "I need to keep thinking about the future.
We all do."

Rose looks back to him, and smiles.
"I just need to move on. Maybe - maybe it's better if I don't go back."
She's worried about Steven, but he seemed...ambivalent about having her home, at best.

He pauses on his way up the stairs to turn and look at Rose.
"Hey - you laughed. Starting to feel like your old self again?"
